We believe in providing access to AI-assisted incident response so every engineer and SRE can detect, diagnose, and mitigate incidents faster. To help make this a reality for every on-call engineer, we are making Applied Intelligence free for every full platform user on every plan. That's AIOps for All!

Responding to incidents quickly can save you from losing customers, revenue and even prevent a PR nightmare. Applied Intelligence empowers engineers to detect emerging problems using AIOps capabilities, eliminate alert storms, and quickly see the root cause of issues when incidents occur.

Enhanced Incident Response Experience

In addition, we are introducing improvements to the incident response experience within Applied Intelligence to help on-call engineers achieve faster time-to-resolution, reduced noise, and increased reliability.

The most obvious change you will notice is a new navigation menu on the left side of Alerts & AI that has been redesigned to better match your incident response journey. You’ll also see some new advanced features, including:

  • Workflows provide our customers a flexible way to route incidents with specific characteristics to appropriate teams and specific ticketing or notification tools, such as ServiceNow and JIRA. You can also use custom webhooks to integrate other services.
  • Enrichment allows you to query data in NRDB, collect pertinent related information, and predefined parameters so that you can automatically add additional context to your alerts before they are sent to first responders. This enriched alert notification offers a comprehensive view of the issue, allowing you to determine its urgency and potential impact on the business.
  • New bi-directional integrations for JIRA and ServiceNow accommodate for customizable fields and additional transactional security. Future integrations under development include email, PagerDuty, AWS EventBridge, and Microsoft Teams.
