New Relic, Inc. (“New Relic”) invites all eligible participants to enter the New Relic FutureStack Logs Trial 2022 Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) which will be held from May 17, 2022 at 8:00am PT through June 30, 2022 at 11:59pm PT (the “Giveaway Period”). Entries are limited to one per participant per giveaway. A “Customer Account” means a registered New Relic account and any subsidiary New Relic accounts that are billed to the registered account holder. A participant’s entry into the Giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.  If a participant is entering the Giveaway on behalf of a company or entity, the participant represents that it has the authority to participate in the Giveaway on behalf of the entity and to accept these Terms & Conditions. A participant’s entry into the Giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS GIVEAWAY.  

How to Enter and Prizes: 

To enter the Giveaway, participants will attend a brief New Relic Logs demonstration and participants must be a registered New Relic One user associated with a Customer Account that is on a Annual Pool of Funds subscription model as described in New Relic’s documentation, and has not ingested any logs data in the thirty (30) days prior to entering this Giveaway (“Eligible Account”). Participants will receive an online form, and if filled out by an Eligible Account by June 30, 2022, that Eligible Account will receive a thirty (30) day free trial of Logs data ingest (“Trial Period”). Only one entry may be used per Eligible Account. New Relic reserves the right to verify compliance with the foregoing, verify Eligible Accounts, and refuse multiple attempts to use the same promotion or for ineligible Customer Accounts. Entry requests for the logs trial must be made by June 30, 2022. This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value, redemption, or equivalent. No purchase is necessary to enter this Giveaway. 

Who Can Enter:

The Giveaway is strictly limited to legal residents of the United States and Washington, D.C. who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their participation in the Giveaway is lawful.  New Relic employees are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. New Relic reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify participants for any reason, including if it is determined that one’s participation in the Giveaway is not lawful.  

Release: 

ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE GIVEAWAY RELEASE NEW RELIC, INC. AND ITS RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND SHAREHOLDERS (“RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM AND AGAINST ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DAMAGES ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR PARTICIPATION OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE, ENTRY IN THE GIVEAWAY AND/OR ACCEPTANCE, RECEIPT, OWNERSHIP OR USE OF THE PRIZE AWARDED IN THE GIVEAWAY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR LOSS OF PROPERTY. BEFORE CLAIMING THEIR PRIZE, THE WINNER MUST EXECUTE AN AFFIDAVIT AND WAIVER VERIFYING THEIR ELIGIBILITY AND ACKNOWLEDGING (i) THEIR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY TAXES INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRIZE AWARDED AND (ii) THAT NEW RELIC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES CAUSED WHILE OPERATING PRIZES AWARDED FROM THE GIVEAWAY. 

Limitation of Liability: 

RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, COSTS OR LOSSES TO ANY PERSON OR PROPERTY OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH (1) TYPOGRAPHICAL OR OTHER ERRORS IN THE PRINTING OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES; (2) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS OR DISCONNECTIONS OR DISCONNECTIONS IN PHONE LINES, HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR FAILURE OF ANY EMAIL OR ENTRIES TO BE RECEIVED BY NEW RELIC DUE TO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, HUMAN ERROR OR TRAFFIC CONGESTION, UNAVAILABLE NETWORK CONNECTIONS ON THE INTERNET OR ANY WEBSITE; (3) UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY TAMPERING WITH THE GIVEAWAY; (4) TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PRIZE; OR (5) LATE, LOST, UNDELIVERABLE, DAMAGED OR STOLEN MAIL.

General:

Any usage of New Relic Logs after the Trial Period shall be charged in accordance with the agreement between New Relic and the applicable entity for the Customer Account. If participant does not wish to use New Relic Logs beyond the end of the Trial Period, then at or before the end of the Trial Period, participant must uninstall, remove, delete, disable, configure, or otherwise take the steps outlined in the New Relic documentation to cease ingest of Logs data and use of New Relic Logs functionalities and integrations with the New Relic service. Failure to uninstall, remove, delete, disable, configure or otherwise adjust your integrations may result in charges in accordance with your agreement with New Relic.

The Giveaway is governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and the forum and venue for any dispute shall be San Francisco, California.

Participants acknowledge that any contact information collected during the Giveaway Period will be used for marketing and other internal purposes.  New Relic reserves the right to terminate this Giveaway for any or no reason and at any time without further notice.
