We’re excited to announce new modernization enhancements to the user experience with the launch of New Relic intelligent Homepage, now available in preview. These updates significantly improve platform usability by streamlining workflows, enhancing data clarity, and providing a personalized homepage for every user. 

New Personalized Homepage

We’ve designed a new homepage, a personalized start page designed to eliminate context-switching and streamline daily work. The homepage will become the default view when users click the "HOME" menu function, providing a customizable workspace and an intelligent launchpad for accessing the platform capabilities, projects, entities, dashboards, and saved links (favorites) essential to your daily work.

Key features include:

• Targeted Entity Selection: Customize your homepage to display only the applications, services, and hosts critical to your work.
• Unified Health and Reliability Monitoring: Consolidate vital metrics onto a single, comprehensive view of operational health the moment you log in.
• Quick Access to Favorites: Improve efficiency by making the most frequently used entities, dashboards, and saved links instantly accessible from your personal homepage.
• Streamlined Navigation: Your homepage doesn't just display data; it acts as an intelligent launchpad streamlining navigation within the platform by eliminating context-switching and multiple open tabs.

UI Modernization Enhancements

The UI modernization enhancements deliver a cohesive and powerful new look across the New Relic platform, built on three core themes:

• New Shell: Easier to Find Things 
  A streamlined and modernized platform foundation, centered on a new minimalistic top bar. This includes a globally accessible search bar and simplified navigation to significantly improve discoverability, reduce visual noise, and lower cognitive load for all users.
• Visualizations: Clearer Data, Better Decisions
  The platform will introduce new color palettes, gradients, and line interpolations to make data visualizations more powerful and aesthetically pleasing. These changes ensure clearer, more actionable insights and enrich the visual offerings platform-wide.
• Modern Styling 
  Focused views with less clutter are achieved through a cohesive update to foundational design elements like softer radii, shadows, and spacing. These styling changes will be initially rolled out to specific capabilities, including SAI, notebooks, and dashboards.

The new UI features (Navigation, Header, and Visualization changes) will be rolled out platform-wide, while the modern styling changes will be phased in, beginning with targeted experiences. Customers will have an opt-in control toggle in the initial phases, ensuring a smooth transition and continuous feedback before the final General Availability (GA) release.
