San Francisco - 2017年 2月 22日

Digital Intelligence leader New Relic, Inc. (NYSE: NEWR) announced that Kristy Friedrichs has joined the company as its first-ever chief people officer, reporting directly to Lew Cirne, New Relic’s CEO and founder. At New Relic, Friedrichs will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on scaling the company’s culture and people programs as it continues to grow its team around the globe.

Friedrichs joins New Relic after spending over 16 years at Bain & Company, first as a consulting principal, and for the last four years as the head of consulting operations for the Bay Area, where she focused on career development, staffing, team building, employee engagement and culture. In this role, Friedrichs developed a deep passion for working with employees and building a great place to work.

“Kristy brings deep experience both in corporate strategy, as well as for people and culture, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on board to drive New Relic’s people strategy,” said Lew Cirne, CEO and founder, New Relic. “One of the things that has always made New Relic special is our focus on people and our core values, and Kristy is going to ensure that as we scale and grow, our remarkable people do the best and most rewarding work of their careers.”

New Relic now has over 1,000 employees around the world. The company has received numerous accolades in recent years for being a “best place to work,” including the San Francisco Business Times’ Best Places to Work award and the Oregonian’s Top Workplaces award.

“As I’ve gotten to know New Relic, I have been truly inspired by the company – both in terms of its product platform and impact on customers, and also in the incredible quality of people who work here and reflect the company’s core values,” said Kristy Friedrichs, chief people officer, New Relic. “I am so excited to help build the New Relic team and culture during this important time of growth for the business.”
