Our observability company recognized for its vision and execution that fuels AI-driven workflows
New Relic continues sweeping platform innovation with 25+ new capabilities in the last year, and reported levels of high customer satisfaction
New Relic, the Intelligent Observability company, announced that it has been named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Observability Platforms. The report provides an assessment of observability vendors based on specific evaluation metrics, including current product capabilities, market understanding and responsiveness, innovation, and strategy. New Relic is positioned in the Leaders quadrant for the 13th consecutive time, having been recognized for its vision and execution.
“New Relic's consistent recognition as a Leader across all 13 iterations of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Observability Platforms since 2012 speaks volumes for us. In our view, this report validates our vision for AI and agentic orchestration, echoing what we hear from customers - when their most critical projects demand performance and reliability, they trust New Relic,“ said New Relic CEO Ashan Willy. “Our continued investment in innovating our intelligent observability platform has been thoughtfully designed to anticipate and meet the needs of modern enterprises.”
Translating AI vision into practical use cases and business impact
New Relic stands out in the market for its approach of bringing its AI-strengthened observability into the tools and workflows where its customers already work. In the past year, New Relic has advanced its partner ecosystem with numerous agentic AI integrations that bring critical observability data and intelligent recommendations across the business and tech ecosystem—announcing integrations with ServiceNow, GitHub Copilot and Amazon Q Business. Most recently, New Relic unveiled an integration with GitHub Copilot’s new coding agent to create a cutting-edge software development solution that closes the loop on issue detection and reduces time to resolution with the proactive monitoring and repair of code issues.
Luke Hoban, VP Engineering, Developer AI at Microsoft recently commented, "I see partners like New Relic as being a core part of how we're going to enable these coding agents, and other agents on the platform, to really realize the full potential they have."
Embedded into its single, powerful intelligent observability platform is New Relic’s AI Monitoring capability, which provides broad visibility across the AI stack for GenAI applications built with enterprise-grade Large Language Models (LLMs) like DeepSeek. According to the company’s recent AI Unwrapped: 2025 AI Impact Report, since its launch last year, enterprises have been adopting New Relic AI Monitoring at a steady 30% growth in usage quarter-over-quarter. New Relic also recently announced support for agentic protocol Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling developers building and consuming MCP services to access deep, actionable insights for quickly pinpointing and resolving AI application issues.
Anticipating and meeting customer needs with 25+ platform innovations and industry-specific solutions
Based on customer usage data and use case requests, in the past year New Relic has unveiled more than 25 innovations to its intelligent observability platform that empower any user across the enterprise to optimize business and IT operations and control costs. The company reinforces its commitment to open standards and customer choice with full, native support for OpenTelemetry (OTel). This empowers customers to easily integrate telemetry data from any source while leveraging New Relic’s advanced insights, AI capabilities and unified platform experience. New Relic has also fine-tuned its platform to meet the needs of specific industries like retail, healthcare, and media and entertainment, including launching the industry’s first intelligent streaming video observability solution for excellent digital experiences. The platform is offered via a usage-based pricing model, which aligns cost with actual value delivered.
Recently announced innovations embed further intelligence into the platform like the industry’s most comprehensive Predictions engine. This engine anticipates problems before they occur to drive better system performance, increased uptime, and improved revenue. New cost optimization capabilities drive engineering excellence and developer productivity like Cloud Cost Intelligence for detailed views into multi-cloud cost trends, drivers, and impacts. By aligning its product innovation roadmap with customer data and requests, New Relic is able to deliver a superior customer experience.
