Tango Selects New Relic to Bring Simplicity to Their Complex App Environment

Global Company Required Single, Seamless View of Web and Mobile Applications

New Relic, Inc., the software analytics company, today announced that Tango, the all-in-one messaging app, chose New Relic to monitor its web and mobile applications, providing actionable data in a single, seamless view. With mobile and web services that stretch across the globe using multiple cloud providers, Tango wanted a real-time application performance management solution that would simplify its complex app environment in support of its 130 million members in 212 countries.

After using disparate solutions to monitor various aspects of its environment, Tango found it was spending too much time translating and understanding the data from one solution and comparing it to the data from others. Tango wanted the ability to monitor the performance of specific key transactions, such as customer registrations and stats on real-time chats and photo uploads – all services that were especially important to its customers. Cross application tracing was another critical feature for Tango, which provided the end-to-end visibility and automated mapping of its services that cross multiple cloud providers for its global business.
