New Relic has received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2026 Corporate Equality Index, the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion. New Relic joins the 534 U.S. businesses that will be honored with HRCF’s Equality 100 Award as Leaders in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion.
“I am proud of the work that New Relic has done to create an inclusive and welcoming workplace. This accomplishment underscores our commitment both in the U.S. and globally,” said Thomas Lloyd, Chief Business and Operations Officer and Executive Sponsor of the Rainbow Relics, our Employee Resource Group for LGBTQIA+ Relics and allies.
Achieving this perfect score is an example of how we have not wavered in our commitment to supporting causes and initiatives that are core to our company’s values. We are incredibly proud of the environment we’ve cultivated together. Here are a few initiatives I am the most proud of:
- Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): New Relic has five ERGs and I am proud of the work we do to build community and provide opportunities for Relics to grow both professionally and personally. Our ERGs are open to all Relics.
- Peer Mentoring Groups: More than 100 Relics participated in peer mentoring groups designed to support group-led growth and development.
- New Relic Inclusion, Social Interactions and Engagement (NRISE) Conference: In June, we launched a new half-day professional development conference that was designed to help employees enhance their professional and leadership skills, foster a sense of belonging, and reinforce how their work contributes to New Relic's success.
We are so proud of this accomplishment. While we take time to celebrate this award, we recognize that there is still work to be done. Our vision of a more perfect New Relic for everyone is only possible if we continue to challenge ourselves to do the difficult work of challenging ourselves in the ways in which we work. New Relic remains committed to this work.
None of this work can be done by one person. I am grateful to all the Relics who contributed to this award and make New Relic a place where Relics feel as though they can thrive.
