OpenLogic CloudSwing Leverages New Relic to Monitor Application Performance Across Applications, Stacks and Clouds

Organizations and users of CloudSwing now have a 360-degree view of application performance with New Relic, fully integrated and free of charge

San Francisco - 8 décembre 2011

New Relic, Inc., the SaaS-based cloud application performance management provider, today announced that OpenLogic, the provider of enterprise open source solutions for the cloud and data center, has bundled New Relic with CloudSwing, their open platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solution that enables developers and IT staff to deploy applications into the cloud in a matter of minutes. Now customers of CloudSwing get New Relic Standard free of charge.

OpenLogic CloudSwing is the industry's first-ever fully flexible Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud solution offering cost-tracking and complete customization of technology stacks. CloudSwing provides a complete open PaaS solution for enterprises seeking to deploy applications in the cloud. It offers an entirely customizable array of infrastructure, languages, and technology stacks, giving companies and developers the flexibility they need to choose the best platforms for all their cloud deployments. The first offering of its kind, CloudSwing is the only PaaS solution with built-in cost management tools to help enterprises understand and manage their cloud costs across multiple clouds. Based on open source technologies, CloudSwing is platform-agnostic and frees enterprises from the limitations of vendor lock-in associated with proprietary tools.

"Offering New Relic Standard free of charge for complete application monitoring allows CloudSwing to go beyond the server- or instance-level monitoring offered by most cloud providers," said Rod Cope, Chief Technology Officer at OpenLogic. "New Relic provides all of the key metrics that our CloudSwing customers need to monitor and manage their cloud applications."

"New Relic and OpenLogic share the same goal of enabling organizations to rapidly deploy and scale their applications," said Bill Lapcevic, New Relic's vice-president of business development. "We know that in order to do this organizations need the right management and monitoring tools. New Relic provides the 360-degree view of application performance that basic monitoring from cloud infrastructure providers don't provide."

New Relic is fully integrated with OpenLogic CloudSwing. New and existing CloudSwing customers will have their New Relic account provisioned automatically and can take advantage of free New Relic Standard right away. Sign in or register for CloudSwing and gain immediate access to critical application performance data by clicking on any running application on the 'Applications' tab and then clicking on the 'sign on to new relic' button.

New Relic and OpenLogic also invite you to attend a joint webinar on How to Deploy and Monitor Open Source Apps in the Cloud on December 14, 2011 at 11:00am Pacific / Noon Mountain / 1:00pm Central / 2:00pm Eastern / 6:00pm GMT.
