Daren Brabham, PhD, is a senior director analyst at ETR, a research firm specializing in enterprise IT. Prior to ETR, he was a senior analyst with Gartner on the business analytics and data science team, and before that he was a professor of new media and strategic communication at UNC-Chapel Hill and the University of Southern California. He is the author of two scholarly books on crowdsourcing and dozens of peer-reviewed articles and has given keynotes around the world to business, government, and academic audiences.
