[Online Workshop] Faster troubleshooting with distributed tracing (APAC)

While APM transaction tracing is helpful for analysing calls in a single application, distributed tracing analyses the path a request takes across multiple applications and services–from start to finish. With this wider view, you can quickly troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and errors.
In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn how New Relic distributed tracing can extend your tracing capabilities and how you can configure it for your different environments. You’ll get hands-on experience in the different ways of working with the UI, combining it with APM and logs data, and use it to solve a range of problems.
You’ll also learn how to:
- What distributed tracing is, and why it's important
- How distributed tracing works
- Common use cases for distributed tracing
- How to configure distributed tracing for your New Relic environments
The lab sessions will cover:
- Distributed tracing in the New Relic UI.
- Understanding errors and latency with distributed tracing.
- Resolving issues with:
- Specific services
- Time periods
- Errors
- Outliers
