The New Relic FutureStack 2021 LEGO® Brick Sculpture Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) will be held between 10am PT on May 25, 2021, through 5pm PT on May 27, 2021 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).  Participants may be eligible to win the prize detailed below.

How to Enter:
To enter the Sweepstakes, participants must be a registered attendee of the FutureStack 2021 virtual event (https://newrelic.com/futurestack), as well as a registered member of Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn with an active account in good standing. To become a member of one of these social media platforms, go to www.twitter.com, www.instagram.com, www.facebook.com, or www.linkedin.com and follow the sign-up instructions to create an account.

Beginning on May 25, 2021, New Relic will be inviting registered attendees of the 2021 FutureStack virtual event to participate in the Sweepstakes. To enter the Sweepstakes, participants must post a photograph, along with the hashtag #FutureStack, on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn that demonstrates they are virtually attending the 2021 FutureStack virtual event. Participant is not required to be visible in the image, though photographs should make it apparent that the participant is attending the event, such as depiction of a workspace or screen with the event visible. Screenshots of the virtual event will constitute valid entries. All eligible participants who i) post a photograph or screenshot of their virtual event attendance, ii) post the image on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn, and (iii) use the hashtag #FutureStack during the Sweepstakes Period (an “Entry”) will be entered into the Sweepstakes for a chance to win the prize specified below. The Sweepstakes is limited to one Entry per participant.

Participant’s participating in the Sweepstakes constitutes their acceptance of these Official Rules. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THESE SWEEPSTAKES.

Selection of Winners:
One (1) winner shall be chosen at random from a drawing of all eligible Entries on May 31, 2021. The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform on which they submitted their Entry within forty-eight (48) hours after the drawing. Upon signing an eligibility affidavit and waiver, the winner can arrange to be mailed the prize detailed below. If a winner does not claim their prize within two (2) weeks of the drawing, they shall forfeit their prize and a new winner shall be selected. Participants’ odds of receiving the prize are dependent on the number of eligible Entries received.

Prizes: One (1) winner will receive one (1) New Relic ‘Nerd Life’ LEGO® Brick sculpture built by Tyler Clites, valued at approximately $2,700 USD.

Who Can Enter:
The Sweepstakes is strictly limited to permanent, legal United States residents who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their participation in the Sweepstakes is lawful. New Relic employees are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. New Relic reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify participants for any reason, including if it is determined that one’s participation in the Sweepstakes is not lawful. 

Release:
ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE SWEEPSTAKES RELEASE NEW RELIC, INC. AND ITS RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND SHAREHOLDERS (“RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM AND AGAINST ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DAMAGES ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR PARTICIPATION OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE, ENTRY IN THE SWEEPSTAKES AND/OR ACCEPTANCE, RECEIPT, OWNERSHIP OR USE OF THE PRIZE AWARDED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR LOSS OF PROPERTY. BEFORE CLAIMING THEIR PRIZE, THE WINNER MUST EXECUTE AN AFFIDAVIT AND WAIVER VERIFYING THEIR ELIGIBILITY AND ACKNOWLEDGING (i) THEIR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY TAXES INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRIZE AWARDED AND (ii) THAT NEW RELIC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES CAUSED WHILE OPERATING PRIZES AWARDED FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES.

RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, COSTS OR LOSSES TO ANY PERSON OR PROPERTY OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH (1) TYPOGRAPHICAL OR OTHER ERRORS IN THE PRINTING OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES; (2) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS OR DISCONNECTIONS OR DISCONNECTIONS IN PHONE LINES, HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR FAILURE OF ANY EMAIL OR ENTRIES TO BE RECEIVED BY NEW RELIC DUE TO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, HUMAN ERROR OR TRAFFIC CONGESTION, UNAVAILABLE NETWORK CONNECTIONS ON THE INTERNET OR ANY WEBSITE; (3) UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY TAMPERING WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES; (4) TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PRIZE; OR (5) LATE, LOST, UNDELIVERABLE, DAMAGED OR STOLEN MAIL.

Publicity:
By participating in the Sweepstakes, any participant irrevocably grants New Relic, Inc. and their respective successors, assigns, and licensees, the right to use such Sweepstakes participant’s Entry or submission, name, likeness, biographical information in any and all media for any purpose, including without limitation, commercial, advertising, and promotional purposes as well as in, on, or in connection with the Sweepstakes or other promotions, and hereby releases New Relic, Inc. from any liability with respect thereto, unless prohibited by law.
