Scott Cutler is a Senior Application Security Engineer at New Relic. He has been interested in security since he went to his first DefCon conference in 2004. He graduated with an Information and Computer Science degree from UC Irvine in 2009, took his first security job in 2012, and now works on the New Relic Threat Detection team. While engaging with the larger security community is fun (RainSec, OWASP, Twitter, CTFs), he also enjoys hiking, photography, and video games (DoTA 2 and Satisfactory are currently his go-tos). He has been living in North Portland for about four years and will always appreciate a food or drink recommendation for anywhere around Portland!
