- Faster, smarter incident response: When an alert fires, AWS DevOps Agent (or Amazon Quick Suite) calls the New Relic MCP Server. This immediately generates and delivers intelligent observability insights, including root cause analysis and business context, which helps the AWS solution propose and execute mitigation actions.
- The result: AWS customers can dramatically reduce manual effort, speeding up incident resolution and maximizing business uptime.
New Relic AI gets the full business context
DevOps, SREs, and incident responders often spend too much time manually searching siloed systems to gather context like deployment notes or playbooks. Agentic AI tools also struggle to provide enterprise-level compliance guardrails without organization-specific context.
To solve this, New Relic AI now integrates with the Amazon Q index.
- Answers, not just data: The integration enables New Relic AI to access key information from across your enterprise’s data sets. When an engineer asks a natural language question, New Relic AI invokes the Amazon Q index and generates a coherent answer.
- Complete picture: This provides SREs with a complete picture of an incident's technical and business impact in one place, allowing them to resolve issues faster.
Strengthen security posture with New Relic Security RX Cloud
Security and posture management can’t be an afterthought. With New Relic Security RX Cloud, DevOps and DevSecOps teams gain unified security insights to prioritize risk and accelerate software development—all without leaving their developer workflows.
- Automated remediation: Our new agentic integration with AWS reduces context switching and bridges build-time insights with runtime configurations. This allows teams to automate the remediation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) vulnerabilities directly within the AWS console, CLI, or config templates like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Comprehensive view: AWS users gain a unified view to discover, manage, and remediate cloud resources and misconfigurations alongside their app and infrastructure vulnerabilities, prioritizing the highest risks for faster resolution.

New Relic AWS Autodiscovery, a unified solution that correlates infrastructure changes, telemetry, and configuration data to accelerate root cause analysis and eliminate blind spots, gives IT practitioners:
- Full service dependency map views: Configuration changes are overlaid directly on performance graphs to pinpoint an incident’s root cause in real-time.
- The ability to discover unmonitored resources: In addition, SREs and platform engineers can integrate these unmonitored resources into observability workflows.
