Description

The BizTalk360 plugin is for BizTalk360 users who wish to track their BizTalk related performance metrics in New Relic. Performance metrics corresponding to the following dashboards are available to you in New Relic:

  • BizTalk Server Health
  • Host Performance
  • Messaging Performance
  • SQL Server Health
  • Throttling Performance

Requirements

To use this plugin, you must have:

  • A New Relic account
  • BizTalk360 v8.1 or later. Download the latest version of BizTalk360 from http://www.biztalk360.com/free-trial/
  • BizTalk360 Platinum license
  • You must be a Super User on your BizTalk360 application to configure the New Relic license

Installation Information

Configuring New Relic for the BizTalk360 plugin is relatively straight-forward. You'll need your New Relic license key, and then configure the plugin in BizTalk360 by following these steps:

  1. Log into the application (as a Super User)
  2. Click the Settings (gear) icon at the top of the page
  3. Click Analytics Health from the left menu bar
  4. Click New Relic Configuration button
  5. Enter your New Relic license key in the license tab
  6. Click Save to save the license information
  7. Click “Click here to check Analytics Service Status” link to start the New Relic sub-service. By default, the New Relic sub-service will be in Paused state
  8. Go back to Analytics Health and click on Manage Analytics
  9. Make sure that data collection is enabled for the desired environments
