Java Messaging Service (JMS)

New Relic instruments the Java Message Service (JMS) 1.1 API and Spring JMS to provide you with insight into your message-based applications.

Java Message Service (JMS)

When you add New Relic to an application using JMS, you gain insight into the application’s message-based communication.

For message consumers, transactions are organized by queue and method. You can immediately see summary data about what messages are consumed the most, where time is being spent while processing the messages, and which queues are being used.

For message producers, you can see in transaction traces where messages are being sent and which queues are being used.
