New Relic Infrastructure のAWS EC2 Integrationでは、これまでlegacy tag FormatとMetadata tag Formatの2つの形式でEC2の情報やEC2に付与されているtag情報を収集していました。
2021/10/27 以降に設定されたEC2 IntegrationからはLegacy tag 形式はDefaultでは収集せずにMetadata tag Format のみを収集するようになりました。

この変更により、DataIngest量の節約が可能となりました。

2021/10/27 以前から利用中のCustomDashboardやNRQLAlertがあり、Legacy tag Formatを利用中の環境では互換性のために、Legacy tag Formatの収集を行うように設定する事も可能です。
NRQLを利用したCustomDashboardやNRQL Alertを設定していて、Legacy tag Formatを利用している場合にはLegacy tag Formatの収集を有効化することで、2021/10/27以降に設定したAWS IntegrationでもDashboardやAlertを作り直す事無く利用を続ける事ができます。
Legacy tag Formatのが必要な場合にはEC2 Configuration から「Keep legacy metadata format」 をONに設定してください。
